Still Alive...

Hi all, sorry for my prolonged absence , I've been having too much fun ;-) Forgot how much I loved being in the mountains, and have been completely intoxicated by it for the past few days but wanted to throw something up so you'd know I'm still alive, and very well.

Here's a pic from yesterdays outing, hiked Dante back into the Wenatchee Forest where we found a great little creek running through this meadow Dante splashed up and down the creek for hours while I laid in the grass and looked at this all afternoon
Am headed out to the Cle Elum river this afternoon, was introduced to a great swimming hole on Friday, it's colder than you could even imagine (glacier fed) but the water is so clear and clean it's irresistible, that and the sun has never felt better once you come out of the water. The only down side to the river, if you don't go equipped with a pole, watching the trout mill around will drive you wild. Not making that mistake again. Will grab some pictures while I'm there this time too...

Oh and I'm not coming home. Ever. Some one's going to have come up here and drag me back into the car :-) I'm kidding, of course, but as much as I love you all (and you know I do) I'm already getting a little sad when I think about coming back to SoCal. It's just that good. I've rediscovered sleep, stars at night, breathe in the air at sunrise, doesn't get a whole lot better than that.
