I got a slightly late (make that VERY late) start on Saturday...or a very early start on Sunday depending on how you look at it. I think I like the sound of early...
It wasn't my fault. It was all these two.Well and a dozen or so others but we quickly lost interest in the camera, so evidence wise it's all on these two. My two friends, Dougie (left) and Carl (right) at The Brick on Friday night. I wasn't going to head into town that night, but couldn't resist a final trip, was well worth the painful day/night/morning of driving on Saturday.
Of course, I couldn't just get on the freeway and drive. Are you crazy? I hit the 101 south of Olympia and drove down through the Oregon coast, it was raining off and on which was absolutely amazing, the combination of the sights and the smell of the rain, that and I ate my weight in fresh Oysters along the way. Magic.I didn't catch them in any of the photos, but dotted all along these vast green meadows were some very happy cows (and you thought they only came from Cali) and I'm hesitant to admit this, but it's late, I've driven 26 hours on 3 hours sleep in two days and I'll admit whatever I want...I was jealous. Of the cows. All of them.
Back in OC now, may take a couple days to adjust. There are people. And cars. Everywhere. And no raccoon under my balcony. There should be some kind of decompression system for coming back into town, for now, I'm hiding under the bed with a flashlight and waiting for the invasion to end ;-)
